309 Partner Spouse Temporary Visa
The Partner Provisional Visa Subclass 309
The partner provisional visa sub-class 309 grants a foreign national the freedom to live in Australia if they have a spouse who is an Australian citizen, a permanent residence or an eligible New Zealand citizen. The Partner provisional visa is a temporary visa which leads to a permanent Partner visa subclass 100.
The application for Australian visa subclass 309 will be processed as long as the applicant can prove that they are in a marriage or de facto relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, that they are financially capable of taking their of themselves, that they balanced and okay as far as health and character is concerned.
Those who are successful can free to live in Australia for a temporal time (more like probation period) while they are being monitored. If all goes well, the holder is granted a Permanent Residency under the Partner visa subclass 100. The holder is eligible for an Australian passport and is free to link up with job opportunities in Australia, select from any of the Australia jobs and use the Australia work permit visa to work.
